Winter Retreat - Advanced Level 1
This scene is fascinating; what I love about it is the contrast between light and dark, as well as the blend of warm and cool colours.
This lesson offers a variety of creative challenges to develop and improve your abilities and techniques. I will show you the methods I use to achieve fine detail without making the process too arduous. One aspect I've focused on in this scene is the cabin's brightness. I will demonstrate how to achieve contrast between light and dark while preserving the cabin's luminosity.
I can imagine taking a lovely walk in the fresh, crisp snow, bundled up against the cold, then returning to this cozy cabin for a hot chocolate in front of an open fire, watching the snowfall outside. Pure bliss!
