The Lion - Advanced Level 3
(Available in other languages)
In a quest to find something unusual and interesting, something that would challenge you (and me!), I came across this magnificent photo. I just love everything about this subject. The proud lion, fearful of nothing, surveying the landscape he rules, the soft backdrop and the warmth of the setting sun framing his rich glowing mane. In this lesson you'll learn how to master the sharpest of details and also the soft blends required for the shallow depth of focus. Pay close attention to the sketching diagram, the proportions of the lion are so important.
I enjoyed this lesson very much. I hope you do too!
