How To Paint a Thatched Cottage - Advanced Level 2

I went through a phase of painting scenes from villages in the Cotswolds UK a few years ago. If you've been there you will know how attractive the area is. I love the pretty villages and stone buildings and this scene is quite typical of that area. Needless to say these paintings are always popular with gallery patrons and I'm sure for artists too. It’s not going to be easy to paint but I’ll take you through the process and the painting techniques, step-by-step, which will enable you to recreate the realism and depth of the scene.

Best of luck,
Michael
