Bluebell Hill - Intermediate Level 1

Looking for attractive but simple scenes that make good lessons is more difficult than you'd think! This beautiful, lush green woodland carpet with a delicate splattering of bluebells is perfect for an intermediate or beginner artist. I'm not saying that this scene is particularly easy but there are limited brush techniques required compared to a more advanced lesson. I love the colours in this scene, those rich greens contrasting with the purples and blues. It's also my favourite time of year with the whole of summer to look forward to!

I hope you enjoy this lesson as much as I enjoyed painting it.

Good Luck,
Michael
